Mr Quah was an absolute gentleman, he treated us with total respect and in such a very pleasant manner, one felt completely at ease and comfortable in his company. There was never any doubt that he was on top of his job and looking out for the welfare of his patient. We could not even begin to offer to make any constructive suggestions regarding Mr Quah, perfection is something one can so rarely say about someone, but it is the only word that fits and his surgery was perfection.

Mr Quah is friendly, easy to talk to and very informative. Everything time-wise went to schedule, booklet and verbal info. was invaluable. Royal Derby Hosp. stay was excellent, clean, well staffed who were attentive and helpful. Aftercare on discharge was all arranged. Dr Quah checked in person on progress and I have just returned from my post op exam and everything is great (12months next appointment unless any problems).Super satisfied with every aspect of my treatment and care and full respect to Mr Quah and his team and the orthopaedic nursing staff. Big thank you.

I have recently had a total knee replacement at Derby Royal Hospital under the management of Mr Quah and his hospital team. The pre operation process was outstanding and provided a great insight into what I was about to experience. The team explained the importance of the patients responsibility to help the recovery process (excercise, excercise, excercise) and the care provided during the 4 day inpatient stay was superb. The post recovery advice, physiotherapy and nursing was excellent and showed great empathy and understanding during a very unnatural period for me. I have just had my 6 week consultation and all is going well and understand the continued actions I need to commit to ensure maximum recovery. Nothing but praise for the team, which I fear is not always recognised.

I have recently had a arthroscopy and Mr Quah was my Doctor, from the first time I met him he made me feel totally at ease, he explained everything that I needed to know and listened to my concerns also. Following my operation ( which has now greatly improved my knee) I went back for my follow up appointment and again he was fantastic, he explained what he had done and then asked if I wanted to see the pictures of my knee ( which I did ) and he went on to explain everything. Just a wonderful Dr who I know is extremely busy and sees lots of patients with far more serious problems than my own but he still managed to care and even remembered what I did! Now that is something else!!! Thank you again for your care it goes along way and a true credit to Royal Derby Hispital.

Mr Quah gave a very good explanation of the procedure and what to expect with the healing process. This has gone exactly as he described. I can only say that I had excellent care from him and his team and would highly recommend him as a surgeon.
